Theresa Corazon Laurico is an award-winning social entrepreneur, creator, leader, speaker, and producer of the “Miracle Morning” movie.
Her annual SociaLIGHT Conference had over 1000 startups and entrepreneurs in attendance per event, and focused on business as a force of good and the triple bottom line “People. Planet. Prosperity.”
SociaLIGHT has impacted thousands and has been featured in Forbes and called "A Mecca for Emerging Entrepreneurs.” Past contributors include Sir Richard Branson, Tony Hsieh, Seth Godin, Robin Sharma, Tonya Surman, and more.
Laurico was recently nominated for the annual Women of Influence Canadian Entrepreneur Awards and the 2020 Women Entrepreneur Icons for exemplary leadership and entrepreneurship.
Laurico is also a seasoned media producer with over 10 years of television experience and a Broadcast Journalism degree from Ryerson University and an Executive Media Leadership MPP from Schulich School of Business. Laurico is a global speaker and a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.
Her former “Love in Action” projects include national campaigns that have resulted in support for the homeless, supplying medical supplies in the Philippines, housing and education resources in Kenya, local support in Peru, 208 eye restoration surgeries in Tibet and more. Today, “Love in Action” is an accredited leadership program taught in high schools across New York City.
Her first movie/ documentary is based on the book by Hal Elrod, “The Miracle Morning,” which has sold over 2 million copies world-wide. It’s aimed at elevating human consciousness and reveals the science of morning routines, the SAVERS Formula, Hal’s story, and a glimpse of the habits of some of the worlds’ most successful thought leaders. It is set for global release in Spring 2020.
After a life-changing accident and miracle, of being hit by a bus and surviving, Laurico’s message is one of faith, resiliency and the Soul’s magnificence. She is passionate about personal growth and well - being, increasing female entrepreneurship, financial literacy and mental health.
Her thought leadership and creativity incorporates Systems Design Thinking and Appreciative Inquiry as a trained student of the Flourishing Leadership Institute and Dr. Monica Sharma, former Executive Director of Leadership Capacity for the United Nations. She is also a member of groups like One More Woman, the Centre for Social Innovation and The Evolutionary Leaders Council, committed to planetary good.
Laurico has a dog named Love, and values God, her family, service to the community, her friends, travel, the ocean and living a life full of joy and “Pura Vida.”
